Okay Insighters, I know I’ve been dropping some rather vague hints on social media lately. Admittedly, they’ve all been promo for my new book series entitled ‘RIDE’.

Sure enough, these pics came exclusively from the vision board I crafted for the series. Their significance will be revealed throughout the chapters to come. But enough about the pics for now.

This year, I’m taking a break from my personable short-stories on #StoryTimeMondays to give you all a taste of my fictional writing abilities. And RIDE is just the first fictional release of the year!

So without further ado, I’m going to break down how this book series concept is gonna work and what you can expect from RIDE.

What Is An Introverted-Book-Series?

Well, think of it as a weekly accumulation of chapters all contributing to the telling of one, continuous, fictional story. Hence, each week I’ll post a new chapter right here on Introverted-Insight.

The chapters themselves won’t be any longer than your average blog post. Not too long, not too short, but just enough to keep you fully-engaged and coming back for the answers to each week’s cliff-hanger ending.

Addtionally, I think it’s a fresh take on reading for those of us who want to do more reading, but have trouble committing to a physical book.

(Or more genreally speaking, those of us who have trouble with commitment period – LOL millennials, am I right?!)

Also, the book chapters will be written as the story progresses. That’s right! Each new chapter will be finished days, perhaps even hours just before the next chapter is posted.

In the limited timespan I hope to really push my creativity to new heights and galvanize thoughts, energy and ideas from readers and the writing week.

So, now that you’ve a better understanding of the concept, let’s talk about RIDE!

What To Expect From RIDE?

RIDE is an amalgamation of things: action, romance, comedy, thriller, introspection, first-person, women’s fiction – just to name a few.

For a deeper sense of the series, here’s the synopsis:

Natalie Grant, affectionately known as “Nat” is on bae-cation with her pushover boyfriend Drew. What was meant to be a romantic, tropical getaway quickly turns into a tumultuous time in paradise.

After having a messy fight with Drew and more than enough to drink at the hotel bar, Natalie scurries off into the dead of night with a mysterious taxi driver.

As Drew attempts to track her down by all means, Natalie finds herself in more danger than she originally bargained for. What ensues is a wild-goose-chase across unknown, scenic land.

And guessing by the amount of secrets, lies, close calls, and gas in the tank, Drew is the least of Natalie’s problems.

And there you have it Insighters, RIDE is here! Chapter One (which is still in the making) will be posted next week Monday, January 27th, 2020.
